During his studies at the University, Bruno Perrault studied piano and Ondes Martenot at the Conservatory of Strasbourg where he is graduated Gold Medal in 1994. Bruno Perrault is admitted the same year at the High National Conservatory of Music of Paris and carried off the First Prize in 1997.
In 1998 he was invited to play as soloist, along with the Conservatory Orchestra of Paris, the Turangalîla-Symphonie of Olivier Messiaen conducted by Pascal Rophé. It toured in Central Europe (Bratislava, Budapest, Zagreb…). He also played this symphony with the National Lithuania Orchestra in Vilnius, then conducted by Cyril Diederich. Bruno Perrault was associated to the young and famous Italian Theatre Company: “Fanny & Alexander” with whom he played during five years.
In 2004 and 2005, he played in London, Leeds and Bruggs as a soloist “Smear” a piece with two Ondes Martenot solo and the London Sinfonietta. This piece is written by Jonny Greenwood, a musician of the group Radiohead. Jonny Greenwood realeased an other version of “Smear” in 2006 for the Southbank Festival in London, the concerts were recorded by BBC3 and realeased on CD: London Sinfonietta label “The Jerwood Series 2”. Finally this music take place in the Soundtrack of the oscared movie “ There will be blood”.
During the summer of 2005, he played “Joanna of Arc” of Arthur Honegger several times at the Opera of Kassel in Germany and with the Strasbourg National Philharmonic Orchestra. He played also this oratorio at the Opera of Basel conducted by Cornelius Meister.
In 2006 and 2007, he played with the Italian pianist Matteo Ramon Arevalos chamber music for Ondes Martenot and piano in Cesena, Faenza, Ravenna, Paris and Acusmatiq festival in Montefano, Ancona…
In 2008 Bruno Perrault takes a great part to the commemorations of Olivier Messiaen’s birthdate, he played Turangâlila-Symphony in Bergen Norway, Brno in Chech Republic, Aarhus in Denmark, and Budapest in Hungary. He played one of the three Ondes Martenot in “Saint-François d’Assise” in Nederlandse Opera of Amsterdam conducted by Ingo Metzmacher, and with the French Radio Orchestra condacted by Myung-Whun Chung in Pleyel Hall in Paris. He played “ Les Trois Petites Liturgies de La Presence Divine” in Milano, Cremona, Torino. In 2010 he is invited by to perform in Messiaen's sextet “La Fête des Belles Eaux” , in Finland's Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival and in Genova. He played in Maurice Jarre soundtrack “Lawrence of Arabia” with Philharmonic French Radio. He is also invited by the National Philharmonic of Lituania to perform Turangâlila-Symphony. He played a Chamber concert in Budapest with the Famous hungarian pianist Eva Polgàr. Finaly he played with the BBC Orchestra Jonny Greenwood's member of Radio head : “Smear” in Queen Elisabeth Hall in London.
In 2011, He perform in a new version of Messiaen's “Saint-François d'Assise” in Madrid for the Teatro Real with the SWR Orchestra Badeb-Baden-Freiburg concucted by Sylvain Cambreling.
In 2012 He is invited by Prag's Symphony Orchestra to played Messiaen's “Trois Petites Liturgies de la Présence Divine”.
In 2013 He perform he's first Recital of ondes Martenot in Colmar's Chuch Saint Matthieu, and he Some concerts in Strasbourg to present the release of CD “Sérimpie” on ReR Megacorp LC-02677 with Italian pianist Mateo Ramon Arevalos. The release was graduated by Andy Gill's article in Independent.co.uk the 4th january 2014. The same year he perform in Italy for “L'altro suono Festival in Modena and Lugo with “Saluti da Saturno” band. He also played Sylvano Bussotti's “Pièces de Chair II” in Zürich and Werdenberg into Collegium Novum of Zürich.
