The most cherished cornerstones of the concert repertoire, audience favourites and their chosen masterpieces waiting to be discovered will be presented in Müpa for the four nights of this rich and thrilling series. The first night will delight the audience with Brahms' two masterpieces under György Vashegyi's baton. The series will then continue with Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 and Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto in B-flat major, the latter interpreted by Mikhail Pletnev. At the third concert, András Keller will give the floor to Peter Eötvös on the podium, who will conduct his own Respond as well as works by Wagner and Ives. Finally, Pletnev will stand at the head of the orchestra conducting a unique Sibelius-Rachmaninov-Skriabin compilation in collaboration with the teenage violinist, known best for the talent show Virtuosos, Amira Abouzahra.
