Concerto Budapest Programmes in April

Programmes of Concerto Budapest in April will include the screening of a documentary, and as always, works of exciting composers interpreted by original musician personalities. On 8 April, the Orchestra performs selected works of Brahms and Sofia Gubaidulina at Zeneház.

Concerto Budapest then joins the Budapest Spring Festival with two programmes: on 12 April, in collaboration with Rezső Ránki, the orchestra plays works of Mozart written for the piano. On 19 April a documentary film on the life of famous violinist Lipót Auer will be screened in the library of Budapest Music Center. Liszt Academy will host a concert of Bach, Shostakovich and Fazil Say’s works performed by Gergely Bogányi and Gábor Boldoczky on the last Saturday of April, and finally on Sunday, at Zeneház, young music-lovers can learn about the life story of Sinbad.
