Mozart Planet summer night concerts in 2023

A gentle summer and Mozart's music. Concerto Budapest started the "Mozart Planet" idyllic concert series many years ago and this year, between 24-26th of August, the orchestra will be performing around lake Balaton with some excellent orchestra members as soloists.

UK, Ireland Tour 2023

After immensely successful debut tour of the UK in June 2022, we’re delighted to announce the Concerto Budapest Symphony Orchestra UK, Ireland Tour 2023 to open our season. Concerto Budapest will be performing in the UK's and Ireland's most renowned concert halls with Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Mihaly Berecz pianists in September.

Alexandra Ivanoff: Mikhail Pletnev leads Concerto Budapest in Finnish-Russian evening

A few years ago, a CD review in The Guardian compared five different recordings of Tchaikovsky’s first symphony. The journalist described Russian conductor/pianist Mikhail Pletnev’s version as “impressionist hibernal gloom” in contrast to other, more peppy interpretations. I could also use that phrase to describe a recent program at Müpa Budapest with Pletnev conducting the Concerto Budapest orchestra

Mozart Day 2023

Mozart’s melodies will fill the concert halls of the Liszt Academy all day on Sunday, 5 March. It is the sixth time that Concerto Budapest and its guest artists have evoked the spirit of the ever-relevant master by playing his masterpieces. Online streams available!
