The Arcus Temporum in Pannonhalma is preparing for its 20th anniversary between 23-25 August 2024. The contemporary art festival is a true community celebration, not only because of the two-decade anniversary, but also because this year the Benedictine monastic community is celebrating the 800th anniversary of the medieval restoration and consecration of the Basilica St. Martin.  The five concerts of this year juxtapose the work of Mozart with that of the recently deceased Péter Eötvös, an exciting pairing in itself, not to mention the fact that the eminent Hungarian composer selected the works himself, with artistic director András Keller. 

One of the world's most sought-after violinists, Augustin Hadelich, Professor at the Yale School of Music, will join Concerto Budapest to perform Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D major, conducted by András Keller, on 28 May at Müpa Budapest. On the day after the concert, the artist will give a masterclass for exceptional talents in higher education at Concerto Budapest's Páva Street headquarters, which is free to all interested people.

In early May, one of the most sought-after violinists in classical music, Christian Tetzlaff, will perform two concerts with Concerto Budapest. He will also be holding a masterclass for outstandingly talented young violinists in the Páva utca headquarters of the orchestra, sessions that will also be free of charge for music lovers as part of the Concerto Master Class.
